Greetings and Sunshine from the steamy South. “Irma” is about to engulf the state of Florida, so I decided to get as much work done as possible before the power goes out. Many memories of past hurricane seasons have the ability to affect one’s mood! Something I have “tolerated” for too long.
Around the time I received my Bachelors in Holistic Nutrition, I decided to also become certified as a Life Coach. I believe these approaches pair well when counseling a client. Many uncontrollable events or social forces, can affect our health, but sometimes we need help in realizing what we are tolerating. Being mindful of our surroundings to the extent of the effect they have on our well-being, is not always possible. However, the impact may be greater if we do not change our response, or ability to adjust our environment to what is a healthy and happier existence.
In general, we all have different levels of tolerance in our personal, as well as professional life. That is due to our genetic makeup, our personality, and our outlook in general. Ultimately, the process begins with knowing that you need a change, and setting boundaries to achieve a goal that will award you a better quality of life.

We all know that tolerance, in a society, is sometimes crucial for survival. However, the issues on a daily basis that personally offend, bother, clutter, drain and zap our spirit and energy, should be evaluated as to how much weight they actually carry in our lives. Maybe we just have to change our “thinking.”
I believe to achieve your destiny, you must have desire, good intention, and strong will, to begin the process. “The distance is not from here to the moon, it is simply from your mind, to your heart!”
